Agreed, but sadly we'll see it approx. 3.2 million more times by April 3rd
"Our staff is going to ensure that anyone who attends this University and wears the Indiana uniform will make this privilege among their highest priorities and not treat the opportunity as an entitlement,'' Crean said in a statement. "We fully expect our student-athletes to accept the responsibilities academically, athletically and socially that come with representing one of the top programs in college basketball history."

Still not as bad as the Amigo commercial from a few years ago. Someone on DBR said the Sony HDTV ad was great but I haven't seen it yet. Had to go online to find it:

I think I've seen that commercial about a dozen times and I finally understood that it was the ad you guys are referring to. It is pretty cheesy...

That State Farm ad is right up there. The one with the amped up fan dressed in college basketball garb, dancing and shouting every time the agent quotes him on some discount.

I sent them a letter about it - T1B smack style, sans the homo references.

I believe that dude in that ad is Chris Wylde...he had a short-lived talk show on Comedy Central.

I was in Reno Sportsbooks over the weekend so didn't have to hear it. Of course, had to see it on several televisions, all scheduled to play at similar times so it was a bombardment. Three hour TOO-wer?

"Tales of a Tasty Shrimp."

At that point in the commercial, I feel like killing that dude's entire family.
