opening rar files
I know I can use winrar, but that would cost money. I was wondering if anyone knew of a free program that would do the same thing.

If you want to avoid that, right-click the file, and "extract to" - that goes for any of these programs.a popup screen comes up after launch, but all you have to do is close the screen.
