I would like a lawyers opinion.... but if barroids basis for suing is that the authors lies are harming him, and the author turns about to be telling the truth, wouldn't Barroid be openning himself for further damages (ie author wrongly accused of being a liar) maybe the author should immediately counter sue...and so on.
but...not being a lawyer, maybe one could shed some light on this.

Except he's not denying the use of steriods with this lawsuit. He just wants to stop someone from making a buck off his name and story. He's pissed because he wanted to write (hahahah) the first book of his steroid use.4 king guy wrote:Barry's been listening to JIM ROME!

He is suing to stop production because the book contians information from that grand jury testimony that was leaked.
Kind of odd that he would not sue over the content in the book but the way the content was found. Doesn't exactly clear his name if he wins.
but isnt every other "Journalist" that draws a paycheck covering this story in the same boat?
