Anyone else think there were a lot of BAD calls go against BC at the end of the game? The capper was the rebound BC got and the Nova guy grab him and pull him to the floor and they call travelling on BC before end of regulation.
Great game. Just seemed like a few bad calls might have decided it...

Is it me, or is the fix in for 'Nova?
I mean, is it pure coincidence that Nancy and Fudgepacker are following this team throughout the tourny?
Shoalzie started another thread about those idiots, which I haven't had the displeasure of listening to all night, thanks to my local radio station. RACK KTBZ, in Tulsa, btw, for actually carrying a national sports event.
From an objective observer ... the officiating in the BC-'Nova game was nothing short of horrid.
Sure ... RACK 'Nova for coming back and all, but Fuck ... Krazoooski must've given his Chevy bling to the NCAA fund for the CBS-broadcaster challenged.
I have no idea what Nance and Packer said during this game, thank God. The amount of back-and-forthing must have both of them in such a tizzy, that either one can even speak with a coherent ... nevermind.
I have no doubt that the CBS execs have the '86 'Nova tapes all cued up. After all, it's not like they're a favorite or anything, this year.

I'd ask for a link, but CBS doesn't post archived broadcasts, much less "highlights" of their steller, historic play-by-play assclowns. Besides, their combined annual salary wouldn't be worth the price of having to break down their "insightful" commentary.IndyFrisco wrote:Actually, from the little I paid attention to Nantz and Packer, they were just as shocked at the horrid officiating as I was.
Not having listened to them for one full minute tonight (RACK my sanity) I can just guess how it went ...
Nance: Well, Billy, it looks like Boston College is dominating this game and is headed for the Elite Eight, doesn't it?
Packer: A lot of people have been picking UConn in this tournament, Jim, but as I've been saying all along, Boston College is probably the best team to come out of the ACC -- having come from the Big East -- and make their way into the Elite Eight. It makes you wonder, Jim, even though Boston College had a phenomenal first year in the ACC, how well they would have done in the Big East Conference this year.
