well there went my PC. I had 13 programs/movies downloading ,while I was installing another Burner and talking smack to some kid in Canada when I went to go take my dog for a walk, While I was out? The mini fan I had laying right next to the motherboard (since I have the cover off so the CPU can stay cool) finally burned out.
And by the time I smelled the smoke? it was to late. The sad part is it was not my board, The guy that left it off here two years ago, is still using the loaner I gave him,
I don't get it , he leaves off 1,800 mhz and takes home 533 mhz and he is happy as shit.
That gives you an idea how slow his PC was running, In fact his fan went out and his PC was shuting down. Thats how it got here in the first place,
I got tired of using my 533 mhz eMachine so I went and stuck his board in my case,
I had the cover off and as long as I had the fan blasting on the CPU everything was cool.
But when you leave a fan on 24/7 for over 7 months and it was bought from the dollar store for 4.00 Dollars? It was just a matter of time. Don't get me wrong, I used over two spray cans of WD40 to keep it going this long.
Now I have to burn some movies I already promised 5 of you who PM'd me
I won't be back in my full posting speed until the 15th of next month. Or until another renter gets kicked out, or leaves in the middle of the night and leave another CPU I can use. Sometimes I find stuff in the dumpster. Right now I am using a Packard Bell Legend it came with 100 MHZ :lmao
I changed the CPU and HD but the RAM sucks, and It will take a little longer to burn my files, But hey! I am still on line , and I may just play a few games before the night is over :smokin

100 mhz lol , I don't feel so bad now. The video card in the computer I just built last month took a shit on me yesterday and I swiped my 4 yr old sons computer to use till i get the next card back, It's an athlon 700mhz cpu with 256 mb of ram and a 64 mb video card.
Rack Mouse.... I was once the Packard Bell Guru here in CenCal and made a career out of their defective shit. Glad to know that out of the billions of POS hardware they distributed someone finally got something worth a shit out of all of it...
