i think on the one side whether LSU's mediocre and often bad decision outside shooting will fail them vs. UCLA's ability to make some GAWDAMNED free throws and handle Davis inside.

if GMU is just "happy to be here" Florida will run them out of the gym. but, heck, GMU are playing unafraid....FT's are a concern with them too.

Florida has won both meetings with LSU this year. yes?

I'm pulling for UCLA. i think if ATM was able to give LSU problems Howland and UCLA might be able to do it too.

I'd love to see GMU win it all. I'd love it even more if Skin punched another dude in the ballocks.

LSU over George Mason

The Tigers have the best front court duo remaining in the tournament...better than Florida...and the scary thing is these guys can probably do it again next year with how young they are. Tyrus Thomas is a freak.

Yep.

Though I'd love to see GMU win the whole thing. What a story that would be.

I'd love to see George Mason win as well.

But I'm seeing Florida win it all beating UCLA by the slimmest of margins.

Noah, brewer, and horford are better than LSU's front court.

Maybe you should look at the boxscores from the two times they played. UF's frontcourt DOMINATED lsu's........period. UF's front court had more points, boards, assists, FG%, and blocks was just sick in favor of UF(lsu had ONE block by their front 3 in two games). Oh, and UF won twice. What more do you want?

Florida is just much more talented, period. Noah, Brewer and Green are all incredible playmakers.

You probably have no idea UF swept the two game series with LSU this season. I guess you'll try and find a way to spin scoreboard into essentially nothing.

I think Florida is playing the best ball right now. But I'm pulling for the George Mason boys. How can you not love this group? They aren't intimidated by anyone. If the MSU, Carolina, and Uconn jerseys didn't scare them I don't think the gators will etiher. I'd love to see them on Monday. If it's all SEC, I'll be re-arranging my sock drawer.

UCLA vs. GM and GM to win it. There I said it. The SEC can suck dirt.

The point is that LSU's frontcourt is playing better now.

But if Fla manages to get past GM (possible because of their lack of depth) we'll see.

You know, the scoreboard that actually counts.

And if they manage to get past GM and lose to LSU in the finals, you'll still have that 'regular season 'bode'.

if only regular season bode mattered, right?

Oh...I guess it does if your team gets punked early.

Sincerely, OU Basketball Fan, going into the Finals, in 1988, against Kansas.

The only thing more pathetic than OU Baskeball Fan in 1988 is Fla Basketball Fan this week. Only OU Fan had an actual opponent in the semis, via Sean Elliott and Steve Kerr, et all, at Arizona.

But, by all means, please pull a Babs and keep jinxing your team by posting about how unstoppable they are, in great detail.

Read the WHOLE fucking thread. Dude pimped LSU, just reminding him of what happened earlier.

Only six teams have more final fours than UF over the last 20 years.

Win or lose, I am freaking stoked. And they are really young.

Tyrus Thomas didn't play in the SEC tourney, FYI. He's on a fucking run and if UCLA or FLA can keep him contained then I'll give them some super props.

Unlike Babs and Jon, trix will take his lumps. Of course, it will be very unbelievable, but he will attempt to eat some crow. Then he will go to the basement and come back next year with guns-a-blazin'.

God forbid Floriduh ever wins anything while we have trix on these boards. He's pretty unbearable as it is. Can you imagine what a BCS Trophy or an NCAA Basketball Championship will do to this guy? (see Vito)
