I've never heard Olbermann's show, but he deserves a rack for making O'Reilly melt at the mere mention of his name.

O'Reilly reminds me of other posters on these boards. They could be bloodied and near death but they would be happy because the pummelling they took amounted to attention directed their way. O' Reilly, like Hannity, needs a counter. If Olbermann takes shots at O' Reilly, then the big-headed Irishman gets to direct his bile somewhere and act like he's a saint. Even if Olbermann punches land square on O'Reilly's nose, the battle boosts O'Reilly's ratings.

I read an article in a recent New Yorker that went into more detail about his work history. When he was a reporter for CBS, he did a piece down in the Faulkland Islands. CBS didn't want to air the entire piece, so they chopped up the video and let Bob Schieffer read over it. O'Reilly threw tantrums over the matter, and continued to throw tantrums until he was fired.

During his time of unemployment, he wrote a novel. This novel was about a take-no-bull, tall Irish journalist who went on a killing spree of co-workers. This guy was killing the people that hindered his career.

Not the most stable gentleman. Says something to those that hitch the wagon to the No-Spin express.

the Oklahoma radio hoops broadcast used to have T. REX's Jeepster from Electric Warrior as bumper music. i always thought that was really odd.

I sat on a plane next to a woman who was reading one of O'Reilly's politico-cum-selfhelp books and reading some of it out of the corner of my eye....it was some weird shite.
