DEATH POOL---First Quarter Update

Post by Luther »

I printed out the list and checked it the other day. I'm not guaranteeing anything, but if you find something I missed just let us know.

The Seer had a death with Tookie Williams, who was executed. I had totally forgot about not allowing that, but it wasn't in the rules, and the Seer grabbed him. Tookie was 52, so...100-52=48 pts. I exchanged PM's with the Seer and he understood why someone "on deck" for the needle is kind of "techinical" so he suggested he just have the same amount of points that Bobby42 got...which was 19.

Bobby42 had Don Knotts in his picks, and Don was 81. 100-81=19

I don't think there were any others. We had some near deaths with Zyclone picking Ariel Sharon. Jsc810 had picked Richard Pryor, but he died before '06, so he got zero points. Nice try, Jsc.

Bsmack's pick of Maria Esther Capovilla is still alive at age 116. She still watches tv, reads, and walks without the use of a can. Frank Football had Dwight Gooden and predicted he'd die of an overdose, but Gooden only got arrested.

Gerald Ford had enough booze in him by 1970 to be completely embalmed. How do we know he isn't already dead?

...uh check me if I'm wrong, but I'm thinking Tammy Faye NEVER looked very good!
