State Fans, you have made your bed. Now you have to lay in it. Or lie in it, whatever.
Dumbass redneck tractor driving dipshits. This just in, no established coach is going to come in to the Triangle to play third banana. You're going to have to find an up and comer and gamble that he can be a program builder at this level. God forbid it takes him a couple of years to win the damn NCAA tourney....I'm sure you'll try to fire him as soon as the Pack loses two games in a row.

Al Davis=Fidel Castro
Seems like ever since Duke arose from the dregs of the conference (c. 1986), State's fortunes have gone the other way. Given the once Big Four has really become the Big Two, Wake and State can only really hope to flirt with excellence every now and then (notably Wake w/Tim Duncan, Chris Paul eras), hoping for the day Krzyzewski retires and Duke becomes an average team again. Carolina, of course, will always be Carolina so that challenge would reduced by a 1/2. But Sendek did pretty well considering how things are locally. Must be the old guard Pack fans getting ansty as there's now a generation of State types that only know of Sidney Lowe as a mediocre NBA coach. Whatever happens, I hope things can turn around for them. The conference is better when the North Carolina schools dominate.
