Huge alcohol cloud spotted by astronomers

Post by BSmack »

No, I'm not making that up. Sadly, this 463 billion kilometer wide fog of booze is made of methanol, and not ethanol. Also, this cloud is many light years away from earth, making getting home after closing time more than a little problematic.

Astronomers say they have spotted a cloud of [methyl] alcohol in deep space that measures 463 billion kilometres (288 billion miles) across, a finding that could shed light on how giant stars are formed from primordial gas.
what spewed that?

and is anything out there living on this?
on a short leash, apparently.

Can’t you read? A giant star is going to be formed from that cloud. Probably be on next year’s American Idol. Fagaholic out front should have told you.

I thought sure you were doing a review of Ted Kennedy's new book.
