Nice over-the-top ceremony for my favourite Flame as a kid. I guess maybe I still carry some bitterness over that trade that put him in St. Louis, but what exactly are the "great accomplishments" Al helped the Blues to?

Choking in the 3rd round? Once?

Ah well. I guess greatness is relative.

It was kind of a surprise to see him there tonight...I was wondering if he'd attend the ceremony. I was wondering if they were going to retire #16 now that Brett is retired. The crowd was quite receptive to him being there. I was thinking there'd be some boos but it sounded like BlueFan was happy to see him back.
