Put it this way: In any Smack Off Euro has pretty much always been a unanimous #1 seed. The long timers never had any doubt that he was always the guy to beat and if he'd just bother to show up and make even a half assed effort he was going to be favored in just about any pairing.

Drawing Euro as your opponent was pretty much a death sentence. You couldn't beat him. Nobody could. The only one who could beat Euro was Boredom, which often as not drove him to the pub rather than to the keyboard.

The Jim Rome board spin off Smack boards, dating back to something like 1999, of which this board is just one of many.

Euro, Caddie, Valvenis and probably Blondiebabe were the original monuments. Blondie wasn't any good at much of anything that mattered but she was such a huge driving force on the boards and she was so ubiquitous that she had to be included. If you don't know about Valvenis I won't even bother. Suffice it to say that the next time you or anybody you see here uses homosmack you can trace it back to Val. For better or for worse, it didn't matter. Val was the biggest thing on the boards for a LONG time.

Caddie goes without saying, as does Euro.

If we're only having four though Moorese's now gotta be there so I guess merit trumps all and Blondie gets bumped.

Also, again, for better or for worse it'd be very difficult to deny IB's overriding notoriety on these boards. Let that mountain include six or seven people and IB's gotta be there. Her inclusion might make you want to blow up the mountain, sure, but there's simply no denying her lasting impact on these boards.

Five years plus of continuing to step on the rake, and still going "strong".

VALVENIS was the model the horse cocksmen tried to emulate but could not create. If I remember correctly, elgrande got his ass handed by VAL until elgrande became a very VERY WEAK disciple as did the others.

RJ's first incarnation to the boards did not go well. He will tell you I used to beat him senseless until he took a break and came back as a VERY FUNNAY descriptive poster after learning from his youth.

I myself learned from the likes of Mace and most notably, Jay in Phoenix. Those were the days I took a beating but eventually learned.
