Of Oklahoma's top 10 leading receivers all time Texass accounts for one of them; more players in the top 10 of receiving hale from California than they do from texass on our top 10 list. Of Oklahoma's top 10 career passing leaders one is from Texas; once again the state of California has produced more on that list for OU than the state of Texass, South Dakota and Arkansas are tied for some perspective. The state of texass does rank prominently on our rushing charts with Four of Ten, equal to that of Oklahoma.

The most telling number would be Consensus All Americans for the Sooners; 45 have haled from Texass as opposed to 72 from the state of Oklahoma.

Don't read the other boards much do you dumbass. Do you like the feeling of my first metatarsal attached to your ass or something? I've been on record from months ago on the college Bball board as stating that Aldridge is the best NBA prospect in college basketball.

WTF does that have to do with it at any rate dumbass? We have been over this atleast a dozen times on the CBB board. Kelvin has never produced atheletes which is what the NBA wants. Kelvin produces basketball players. His players don't go to the NBA they go to Europe and other over seas destinations and they are all pretty damn successful considering that his players account for 11 League MVPs scattered across 6 different leagues including leagues in Australia, France, Austria, and South Korea. Hollis Price is a virtual super star in France and NBA teams have shown interest but quite frankly the he already makes more than the NBA league minimum (which is what they offer) and his wife is a super model in France. Ace McGhee has been the MVP in two different international leagues in the last few years. Jason Detrick was the MVP of the top Austrian league last season and became a free agent and was one of the five most sought after FAs in Europe. Players from Oklahoma other than Najara have not met much success in the NBA but then again the NBA mid level players haven't had much success, against the same players that former Sooners dominate in European Club play, on the international stage.

As far as the brightness of our two programs future. Oklahoma signed the #3 class in the country during the signing period. The day after Kelvin quit Tony Crocker changed his my space account background to banners of OU and re-affirmed that he was Sooner no matter who the coach was. recently Damion James and Mayfield both said that the oppertunity to play early, get exposure on the national level, and be a part of a very special class at OU was too great to pass on. The only recruit we are waiting on re-affirmation from is Scottie Reynolds and a lot of what he was going to do had to do with mostly Damion James, because they are very close, and Darrel Arthur. Since James is definatly coming the prospect of keeping Scottie Reynolds is looking pretty darn good.

In about another two hours OU will be announcing a new head coach who is young, black, will have the ability to recruit the east coast with just his name alone, and he'll have a shot at midlands players because he is the coach at one of the premier programs in the region. He has shown the capability to both play and coach both up tempo and slow down basketball. The future at Oklahoma actualy looks pretty damn bright. No one in the country saw this hire coming and every analyst speculating on it has to be embarressed as hell about, every name under the sun, hell even Michael Jordan was discussed on one of the boards but no one every even had a clue as to who was the target. Joe C. Wrapped up his background search and check on Saturday and within a couple of days his fish was caught. The outlook of our program, like I said, is pretty damn bright.

I guess you're just going to have to live with another 80 years of Oklahoma making texass its bitch on the hardwood. Congrats that once or twice every couple of decades you reach the pinnacles that Oklahoma has become accustom to over the years in basketball. I hope you enjoy this time with Barnes cause I doubt it lasts very long. Just like Lemmons.

Didn't think we would ever see Vito in here. I guess my hypothesis was proven that he doesn't look at a word of the other boards and only inserts his foot in his pie hole.

Vito is obviously great at providing us all with his delusions of grandeur but wilts like a month old daisy in the desert when facts are presented.

In the last few months now we have seen Vito claim that it was Texass who saved the Big 8 and not the other way around. That texass is a better basketball program; which is a comment that is ignorant to the point of laughter. Tried to proclaim scoreboard in basketball for a 1-1 record... but then again based on the series history I could almost understand how that could be considered a mighty huge accomplishment by texass basketball standards and a moral victory that we Sooners have come so accustom to myopic texass fan falling back on.

I'm almost regretful that I had the mods split this so that there would be one all time reference and account for the ignorance that is Vito, almost. But alas a point was needed to be made. Vito has obtained Mtool and Jon=Bitch status in my eyes.

Vito made claims to how much more the the texass athletic department outspends everyone else and produces more revenue. I've done a lot of looking into this over the last few days. Yes it is true that texass has the largest athletic department budget in the country, it's unarguable that they do but Vito tries to imply that it is some exuberant amount more than Oklahoma and everyone else. This crap has got to be a joke; there are only a handful of conclusions you can come to after reading something like that:

1) Vito is a damn fine troll job by someone on this board getting their jollies.

2) God didn't bless Vito with the brains he blessed a seven yearl old with.

3) Drugs... heavy drugs.

Some little facts about our athletic departments Vito... Texass Athletic Department operated with a budget of roughly 82 million dollars. It needed no subsidies from the School or the State, congrats, I mean that sincerely not many schools have that ability. Oklahoma operated with a budget of roughly 76 million dollars. A difference of 6 million dollars. You out spend us on the dollar scale. You don't outspend us per athelete or per student though. The difference in those catagories favors the University of Oklahoma. We have smaller programs than Texass, I mean we all compete at the "big" college sports, football, both basketballs, baseball, track & Field, and softball but other than that Oklahoma tends to operate smaller programs that require fewer atheletes. That has more to do with what sports are popular in our states as well; for example, Oklahoma puts on "leotards" and wrestles, texass shaves its legs and swims.Oklahoma is one of only a couple of athletic Departments in the country that actualy funds the school; guess what Vito, texass isn't one of them. Oklahoma's Athletic Department not only is able to pay for itself but it almost entirly funds the OU Library system by itself. Congrats to the Domers, Huskers, and the Los Angeles colleges as being the others. Texass does have more million donors than any other school, nice statistic but it only means something they are really putting that money to work for you. Hate to brake it to you Vito, and I was actualy pretty schocked to discover this, Oklahoma has more money donated to it than Texass does specifically, for the Athletic Department, this century than Texass. And if you want to get down to the brass taxes of it, Oklahoma has had more money donated to its athletic department this century than any other in the country. Oklahoma's athletic fund drive, the "Great Expectations" campaign, has been the largest athletic fund raising drive in the history of college athletics. Not freaking bad for a bunch of dumb poor okies huh, jackass. I guess we've been saving a bunch of money living only in double wides, right? There are rumors of a "Great Expectations II" in the future if a certain decision is made concerning the future of our athletic department if the right one is made our athletic department will become larger than Texass' making it the largest in the conference as far as number of sports competing in. Oklahoma is by no means a poor school. The richest woman on the face of this entire planet is a University of Oklahoma Alumnus. Texass has a good bit of oil money, as expected, so does Oklahoma. Maybe you have never heard of companies such as Conoco/Phillip's 66, Kerr-McGee, and Anadarko Oil but I am pretty damn sure everyone else in this country has.

What really gets me about texass fan, other than the fact I was born to hate them on principle alone, is that there are only two kinds of them. One is the worldy and intelligent fan that I could have a real converstaion with accompanied by some little jabs. Like Harv, if you will. Then there is the moron texass fan that really believes the trailor park and poor Okie jokes. Vito do you know what makes the trailor park jokes so funny to me, personally? The fact of the matter is that Texass has more trailors in its state both in pure numbers and per capita than Oklahoma. The kind of fan that really believes Oklahoma is so vastly inferior to Texass in every shape, form, and manner. The Vito fan, if you will.

Vito makes so many dumbass statements concerning Oklahoma that it is almost impossible to keep track of them all. I spent a couple of days pinging on him like a little kid at Tee Ball for making some of the more outlandish statements he made that I totally missed where he tried to proclaim scoreboard for basketball this year until yesterday. Only by Vito Math does 1-1 equal scoreboard. But as I said previously I can almost understand how that is a moral victory for Vito fan given their basketball history against us.

Vito Texass fan is exactly why Oklahoma will continue to be the most powerful basketball program in the Big 12 South. Vito fan actualy believes it is they who are the better program and always has been. And it is Vito fan that thinks they will beat us because "they are texass". Oklahoma athelete and fan come in each and every time recognizing it is a match up between top Dawg and a team that wants our spot. We play like it most of the time as well.
