I Can't Wait?

Wasn't that Nu Shooz, circa 1986(or that's when the remix topped the club charts, anyhow)?

I probably wouldn't remember such things, but one of my close friends has to remind me that he worked on that remix every time a song sounding anything like it comes on.

Dude, I'm bad on the internet. My buddy is bad in real life. And he's loud about it, too. A real hoot to get liquored with, as long as you remember to always make sure you're drinking more than he is...but I'm guessing everybody here either has one of those friends, or is that friend(and no, despite my persona here, that definitely isn't me).

We were at a bar watching a...I believe it was a Chiefs game...one of them hayseed teams...and as they came out of a TO, I Can't Wait was playing on the stadium PA(who the heck put obscure, shitty 80's club music on a stadium PA...oh, sorry...it IS the Midwest).

And soon, the entire crowded bar knew he worked on the remix that charted (that was about a three-year old local tune before the remix, which hit big...ponderous).
