GBV - Electrifying Conclusion

Post by MgoBlue-LightSpecial »

Got this DVD from Netflix and watched most of it already. For those who don't know, this is a recording of their final, four hour show from Chicago. Pollard had a bar put on stage, and he was taking shots in between literally every song. Not to say getting wasted and playing long ass shows was anything new to him, but he usually just shuffled around on stage with a beer in his hand. All show long it was shots of whisky and bottles of champagne until the bitter end. It was impressive. Oh yea, the music was pretty good too.

my neighbors are out of town, so prancing around the living room with bottles of Bud singing along to watch me jumpstart sounds like an idea.

TO THE TOP OF THE QUEUE WITH YOU, AMAZING ROCKET HEAD.

That's what I did. Except it was Exit Flagger and Molson Canadian.

edit: caught the strokes last night for the 2nd time. Pretty deece even though we missed the first 3 songs. And of course, every time I went to get a beer, that's when they played a favorite tune...I fucking hate that shit!

that song was on the first album if you bought it abroad. Seeing as 9/11 just went down, they took it off the US release.
