we're looking to pre-populate restricted and Trusted sites in IE (save your Firefox crap) via GPO's. We're basing some of this on our Content filtering exceptions. There is a very good possibility that we will be populating upwards of 500 sites. Does anyone know if GPO's have a size limitation?
I'm not concerned with load times (YET), just whether or not there is a system limitation. I haven't been able to find anything on MS's site.
Anyone know if a GPO has size limitations?

An annoyance, but worth noting.
Have you got any documentation around that? Our GPO's get applied at every log on. That might be a show stopper!
I think due to log on times associated with a GPO that size, we're moving in another direction, but that might be a data point worth mentioning.

No documentation, but field experience.
We installed MS Anti-spy on one of our managed sites that has GPO's that move the "home page" every log. MSAS askes everytime if its approved.
So, I imagine that other changes that are "spyware like"; such as adding to the trusted site list, will invoke similar responses.
Just a guess.
