With no clear cut #1 prospect like the last few drafts, just being in the top 5 will get you a quality player. Johnson, Kessel, Staal, Frolik, Toews...flip a coin or a 5-sided die in this case.

St. Loo gets the 1st pick in the most worthless draft in recent memory.

I've said it before and I'll say it again............sucks to be you, St. Louise.

Maybe if you fired Larry Pleau and brought back the organ, things would be different.

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzt

Eric Johnson is a franchise Dman. 2-5 are quality players. #1 was a huge get.

Johnson would be great but you also need to figure what your goalie situation is going to be. Are you guys going to go with Sanford or Bacischiua (sp)?

dude, the blues aren't a year away. sanford and bacischiua will be the netminders, plenty of young goalies for the future.

If you say so, and Shoalzie says so, it must be true. After last years class though, any draft looks paltry.

my bad

the forwards are definately not franchise tag worthy() But Johnson would of been best Dman in last years draft also. But Blues will go another direction, it's their M.O.
