Nothing links to $C. We're innocent.

Ray Maulauga
Brian Cushing
Winston Justice
Mark Sanchez

hell this whole thing will probably blow over because Pete does work with the LAPD with gang kids in the city so he's got many connections. I wouldn't be surprised if the girl drops the charges and then cashes a huge check from some $C booster or wealthy alumni.

Some may cry wolf, but in certain instances (rape, child molestation, etc.) people should be presumed guilty until proven innocent. Most kids and women don't have reason to lie, and many more hide it than cry wolf.Cicero wrote:That sucks if its true. So many girls cry wolf these days, I am going to wait before I pass judgement.

Wow....agree on one thing and not on others, but if you have ever had anyone you know go through it......it changes your perspective greatly.Killian wrote:Some may cry wolf, but in certain instances (rape, child molestation, etc.) people should be presumed guilty until proven innocent. This is one issue, stupid football shit aside, that everyone should agree on.T REX wrote:Wow....agree on one thing and not on others, but if you have ever had anyone you know go through it......it changes your perspective greatly.Killian wrote:Some may cry wolf, but in certain instances (rape, child molestation, etc.) people should be presumed guilty until proven innocent. For me, this whole sad situation is ironic because I had heard a lot of whispers that Sanchez was gay. I especially remember that one picture of Sanchez at practice with that super-tight, cut-off t-shirt.
At the time, I wondered if maybe a guy destined to be a superstar like Sanchez could break through and be the first openly gay athlete and be accepted for who he is. Now that he's running up a streak of questionable incidents (though he is not guilty of anything yet, I must add), Sanchez may not be the best candidate for that.
And then I thought it would be funny that such a conservative place like USC might be squeamish about having to accept that the guy who's winning games and carrying on their oh-so-proud tradition could be gay. It's funny how things like that make you re-evaluate your perceptions.
At any rate, I will be fair to Sanchez, but there is a potential victim in this incident who deserves fair treatment as well. Let's see how this plays out.

Say, you're from the Bay area, aren't you?
“It is usually futile to try to talk facts and analysis to people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.”
Before you pile on to the kid know that the accuser says that he assaulted her between 12 and 12 15 am. Sanchez is on video going in to a bar at 11:20 and leaving after 1 am by himself. So that would mean that this assault happened in a crowded LA Nightclub. What doesnt help Sanchez is the fact that he's only 19 and was in the 901 Club because he used a false ID from Arizona that said his name was Jordan Uttal.
Club employees said that he was hanging out with other students and left alone, they didnt say whether or not he drank while he was at the club. Seems like the security video tape of him at the club during the time of the alleged assault makes for a solid alibi, but he'll probably now get reamed for underage drinking and be forced to go to AA meetings

Looks like they may need to give SC a full cavity search.
