Ok, so who's the homer that defended Bush's family saying they were paying the "market vale" of $2000/month? Uh...looks like $4500/month and they weren't paying it.
Here's an article about what NCAA violations that probably occurred. If the Bush family didn't pay rent, then it's pretty clear it's a violation.
Not paying rent and taking cash from Michaels could constitute extra benefits and a violation of NCAA rules by Reggie Bush. Student-athletes, their friends and relatives are prohibited from receiving extra benefits from professional sports agents, marketing companies or their representatives. A breach of these statutes could result in an athlete being ruled ineligible, and games in which they played could be forfeited.
If this is proven true then the perfect punishment is to yank the Heisman away from him. Go light on USC as they likely didn't green light this arrangement. Reggie gets punished and will be the first to have the Heisman yanked, and USC isn't saddled with crap.

...and Reggie will laugh all the way to the bank. Still won't hurt his negotiations and that's all that trophy really means anyway. Unless you're a college QB who amounts to nothing in the NFL.
Striving to be a victim of Polly's plagiarizing ways.
