Just hearing this cat. I despise the shit calling itself country music these days. Last country act I heard that was worth a shit was The Mavericks, that said - with the full realization most of his newer stuff is completely derivative - he delivers well. It's bluesy with some rock edge. I hope it catches, because country music these days has become so fucking horrid it's comical.
