Gnarls Barkley - St. Elsewhere

Post by patsy stone »

Album is getting rave reviews from EVERYONE and just downloaded most of the tracks. Comprised of rapper Cee-Lo and Danger Mouse (whose remixes I'm a fan of!), the songs so far are pretty cool. Kinda electronic, kinda soul, kinda jazzy, even kinda reggae — with a touch of old-school flair. There's even a remake of "Gone Daddy Gone" by Violent Femmes.

If anyone is interested, I'll YSI what I have. Just let me know...

interested. Cee-Lo has some really good solo stuff and some really tired neo soul. HEard the single and was pretty down.

Saw them yesterday at Coachella.

EXCELLENT SET.Lots of fun and the music was great too. The lead singer was full of energyt and had lots of fun with the crowd.

The entire band wore witch hats and occasionally switched them out for party hats.

Wonderful set
