Subject: your boring evasive tracts
What's your point? You've simply downloaded a colonial era tract from...?...Madison?...Jefferson?
What's that got to do with the subverting of the very same structure these founding fathers carefully balanced and introduced?
Do you really know anything about John Negroponte? Nothing in your posting suggests anything of the sort. The schoolyard brattiness of the "mods" in this forum--in basically censoring my posts--shows how weak and uninformed they--you?--really are. What's up?
NF
Hey dumb fuck, I'm uninformed? You have no idea what that "colonial era" tract is do you? Well, obviously not if you think Jefferson had something to do with it. In 1789 Jefferson was in Paris as the US rep. See, dope, the first was written by Alexander Hamilton, the second by John Jay. It was called the F-E-D-E-R-A-L-I-S-T P-A-P-E-R-S. Pick up a history book sometime. Wakey wake.
I'm familiar with the Federalist Papers ('sup history degree?), but I also fail to see the relevance of those particular essays to a debate about Negroponte's criminal activities. It looked to me like you just wanted to ruin a thread.

It's called hitting the 9 and not the 7 on the number pad, you want to play? I got that history degree too, it's hanging right next to the Political Science one.

I started off as a Poli Sci major but found my Poli Sci classes to be like Sominex. Props to you for making it through.
BTW: Can you imagine a public figure these days publishing anonymously? It would be like Marion Barry without a crack pipe. Just unthinkable.

Jefferson WAS in Paris for most of 1789 right? Didn't he leave like a week after Sept. 11? Something about all the ships being 'grounded' for National Security reasons?*
You're just taking back your implication that The FPs were first published in 1789 right?
Jefferson was in Paris from 1784 until about the end of Sept 1789.
Bri,
Are you trying to say that spending an entire semester going through The Republic and Hobbs' Leviathian line by line is boring? Answering exam questions like " What is meant by "I went down to the Piraeus " and then working in the allegory of the cave is boring? I've tried to blot most of that out, but it won't work. It was almost as thrilling as that Russia 1800 - Present class I took.
I saw an article about some writer from the LA Times that was punished for posting in a blog under a pseudo, and was thinking the same thing. Hell, everyone back then wrote under a lot of different names. Politics is tame compared to back then.
