I saw Alvin Lee with Ten Years Later, his power trio follow-up to Ten Years After, back in the mid-70s at the Long Beach Arena. Dude flat out smoked (literally), since people in the audience were throwin' joints onto the stage and he was pickin' 'em up as he exited. The bass player (I believe it was Tom Compton) did a badass solo that included a version of the theme to The Pink Panther with him using the microphone stand as a slide on the fret board. I saw Alvin a few years later in Phoenix as the opening act for Kansas, and he blew them off the stage. I saw him again in Ventura a few years ago, and he had Rory Gallagher's former bassist with him. Always been one of my favorite guitarists.
Gotta concur that the Mylon LeFevre album cover is most gax, though.
