That video is haunting when you hear her talk about the death threat made... because she wouldn't sing... and keep her mouth shut!

And Americans have the right to voice theirs by either not buying Dixie Chicks records or complaining to radio stations that play their stuff.

The recording label executive that went along with releasing Not Ready To Play Nice (especially as the first single) has got to be the most stupid person in the industry. If the original bruhaha didn't already kill their career, that move definitely sealed it. Natalie, say hello to Sinead.

The Chicks would have never gotten back in the good graces of the Nashville establishment anyway. But, those who are forcasting their demise ought to at least be familar with the facts.

While local radio is not embracing the song, it is the number 2 most popular download on iTunes and is in the top 40 Country Songs on the Billboard charts. It’s also showing up on pop stations and sales of the album on the first day have been brisk.

Once again, the country music establishment is way behind the curve. Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson out front could have told you that.

Was there a reason they felt the need to take their anti-Bush comment to London instead of say Texas or Oklahoma? Was it out of fear of being booed off the stage?

It's not the first time Hollywood and music industry types felt the need to take their anti-bush comments oversees to pander to the anti-american euro crowd.

Now that Bush's approval ratings have started to inch below 30%, I'm guessing you could hear those viewpoints uttered at a NASCAR event as well.

As for thier music, all I can is that there are WAY too many women who think they can sing their music at kareoke bars. Which means two things. One, there is no underestimating the taste of drunk women and two the Dixie Chicks ain't going anywhere soon. If the country stations don't play them, they'll get their run on the adult contemporary stations.

So the Cunts crack on the President after keeping their sister fucking grilles shut for a while...in Europe of course, and then they appear on a highly rated and watched TV show...not like that was not set up in advance.....

Props to whoever designed this marketing plan.. the liberal lemmings and the white trash that buy their swill fell for it big time.
