War Wagon...Right Here

Post by Jay in Phoenix »

Instead of cluttering up an old thread with an off topic, let's just dance on this new thread.

So then, War Wanker sez:
Ok, no problem. This should be fun and oh so scary...having a legend in his own mind "go off" on me is a thrill that I don't get everyday.
Hey fruitcup, when exactly did I ever refer to myself as a "legend". Not here on this board, not in the TNW...not in SC's 1, 2 or 3. Others handed a group of us know as the Mag7 (not a name we gave ourselves mind you) that line sometimes, but it sounds to me like you want to bestow the Legend tag on me. Fine, if that rocks your little world, go for it! I mean, seriously, thanks for the chuckle. :D
Why is that? I'm not the one doing the losing. I just support my team thru thick and thin, no matter how hard that is to do. I'm certainly not going to ever jump shit, just because they're mired in a horrible stretch. We have unkind words to say about folks who do that sorta' thing...bandwagoneer being one of them.

Wow, I never knew that being a fan of your hometown team who's a perennial loser, also made the fans of said team a loser.
Well golly, great to know your not a bandwagoneer. Your undying loyalty to your shit team is admirable. Stupid, but admirable. And you sort of took that line out of context, or perhaps, I should just restate it...being a fan of a losing team, does not automatically make one a loser per se...however...playing the role of perennial loser on these boards COMBINED with your oh-so-sweet support of your team, makes you a DOUBLE LOSER!

There, that clear things up?
More revelations coming in from above, eh? If you're a knowledgable fan, then you can't be gay, and vice versa. You got this all figered out, don't you?
You mean "figured" out? Well yes, I certainly do. And the entire "gay" thing was started by you. I just returned the volley. Play the gay card, get the gay card...right up your little 'tard ass.
What do their uni's have to do with anything? As for where the Chiefs were...kicking the sheepshit out of the Lambs the last few times they played. Why? You a closet Lambfan? Does Kurt Warner make you panties glisten? Or are you a 'tardinals fan, being from Phoenix? Yeah, the Chiefs stomped them, too.
First things first. I am indeed a Rams fan. Have been for over thirty years. Same with the St. Louis Cardinals. Fuckin' hate the Cards football team. Kurt Warner...? Who cares. And yes, the Chiefs have some recent victories of late...behind an ex-Ram QB...over the Rams. But who cares about regular season games...playoffs and SuperBowls are where it all comes to fruition, and let's face it...your team blows goats in the post-season.
What is this "smaking" that you speak of? Oh, of course, you meant "smacking"...and au-contraire, it's every bit the area for it. Teams and cities who whore themselves out to the highest bidder for naming rights to their stadiums are always great fodder...especially when the said high bidder company goes belly up and that name don't mean squat anymore. Kinda' like the name Enron Park, or the TWA dome, or Jay in Phoenix, for that matter.
Wow, didn't know I had become a corporate sponsor. Fuckin'-A! War Wagon wants to make me a geen-u-ine Corpy-rashun. Look out Wal-Mart, here comes Jay-Mart! Yeah baybay, that's the ticket. Oh, and as to teams and cities "whoring" themselves out...face it little one, that is THE American way. You anti-American?

Fuck you.
Look 'tard, Cards and Royals fan, Rams and Chiefs fan, love to give each other good natured shit. Duh, it's an intra-state rivalry thingy.
And that is EXACTLY what we've been doing...taking it of-so-seriously as you seem to be doing. I'm in this for the shits and giggles. And you my sorry sad-sack, are wonderful smackin' fodder. Keep up the mediocre work!
Next time you want to "go off" on someone Jay, try having more than a rubber knife in your limp wristed grip.
You got that all wrong dipshit...typical. It wasn't a rubber knife...it was a standard issue T1B rubber plunger. And the amazing thing was, you jammed it up your own ass. Congratulations on the self-inflicted hiney ramming.

After all, it is your forte.

Jay in Phoenix was part of the Mag 7?

I was under the impression that collective group had "talent" (or certainly at least tact).

My bad, I guess.

Pretty sad memory you have there Roofer. And talent the "7" had in abundance. Tact...that's a whole different matter. :D

Still, I don't recall anyone praising your posting skeelz.

You got something worthwhile to say Roofer, go for it.

It'll be the first fucking time.

When I first started on these boards I remember quite clearly that Roofer was one of if not the top poster. It was quite a consensus too. Now I know he took some time off but I am sure he still has it. I know he isn't one to toot his own horn so I figured I would come in and give a 3rd party account. Carry on......

Jay,

It's been quite some time since the days of the Mag 7, so perhaps my memory of their existence is a bit fuzzy. But my memory tells me that the elite of the group (or for that matter, any of the "cliques" that have been spawned from JR boards) weren't into the whole callout thread approach. They were the cream of the crop, and they didn't need to start a thread to attempt display this. They simply waited and when the time called for it, they handed down ass beatings on a regular basis. See, the thing that makes a solid, "legend" poster, is the ability to withstand someone getting in your dome, so much so that you drop a callout thread 2 days after a "run in" with said "someone".

Now, with that being said (and trust me, I've said plenty to this point....those who've been around long enough know what I'm gettin at) not a one of us needs to look any further than the "hiney ramming" epcot blast that you laid down to know that your smack is of a grade school level. You get credit for being long winded, but not much else. Another trait of those "legend" posters in the past was that brevity was their forte. They didn't need to cut and paste a half novel's worth of "sticks and stones...." to get their point across.

I have no beef with you. I just had some confusion how anyone could mistake you for a legend after the way you conducted yourself. Maybe I just don't hang out enough here to have my finger on the pulse of what jives and what doesn't anymore. If so, so be it....I can't say it would disappoint me if that were the case.

Verruh nice Luth...as always.

Somebody send the body bag for War Winkie.

Oh and Neely, that's cool about Roofer. I'm just kind of suprised he jumped into the mix, as we have no history of any sort.

Ah what the hell, a pile on is a pile on.

Carry on.

All I'll say is that both Jay and Roof have had some good stuff in the past. SCIII got so sickening that I only read it on occasion. Both of you were easily of the better reads at the time.

The Mag7 always makes me laugh. I was like the late inning pinch hitter for that group. I used to remember that Inky Dave used to just melt ever so much over that group. It was a standup group for the most part. The Mods were especially weak, Rome was going good, and the board was just flooded with hordes of tards. M7 just was the Round-up for the tard infestations of sports board messaging.

Both you guys should just shoulder chuck each other and let WW come back with whatever he wants. The bad thing about Jay is that he has such limited time to even get online. I never could understand how he could do it and not have a computer himself. I'd get smacked around when I was a newbie and one time, I think I cried.

Roofer, fair enough assessment. And yes, your memory of those days is a bit clouded.

Listen, I don't claim any sort of elite status. I'm not into that crap. This thread started in another, and instead of bogging a pretty interesting discussion (or argument) with a Cardinals/Royals trade-off, it just seemed better to do it in a fresh forum.

And going to the "hiney" card is meaningless. But face it, just about every single poster here and elsewhere plays that card when it applies. War Winkie had it coming...so to speak. Your taking things out of context. And perhaps a bit too seriously. Whatever dude, it's all good.

And for gods' sake Raydunce James, what the fuck crawled up your ass?

Was it me....gee, I'm all a flushed.

...usually enjoyed the old "board smackoff's" on Mild's site and before. I especially remember one week battling Catfish...I was overmatched, but gave it a fair shot for an old fart.

I've got to think Roofer and Jay in Phoenix would be an epic battle. The tete-a-tete between the two was niiiice, however may I suggest a old fashion battle royal..Let's get it on!

And CM, you and I could be the undercard.

We each get those satin robes, you as the "Silver Stallion", and me as, "Old Charmin Cock." For you they'd play some Frank Sinatra, "My Way," and I could counter with the theme from "On Golden Pond."

We do a dueling banjo type of thing in the ring...you Ali shuffle once, and I counter with some Dolph Lundgren's "I vil Destroy you," and then we collapse on our corner stools.

Paramedics come in, and hook up those things on our chest, and then one of those ring chicks in the thong bikini's come in and we go fucking __________________________^_____________________________ on the cardiogram.

The lights dim as EMT's are using that big ol' bag on our faces.

Since we're all waxin poetic like up in here, let me just say I get what Jay is sayin. Back in the day I was always game to flame with anyone and everyone....it was what the board(s) was all about back then. I remember serious all day flamewars when everyone would wait for the next elgrande homorant, or that pothead Skilla to puff his way in, Catfish was good...Broken Staple.....R00TBEER and Rootbeer......Jimmy Meds (still represented by that Dave Letterman wytch job I see)......troll trains......speakin of wytches, how can we forget the fuckin comedy that was David Copperfield?? MCET was a fuckin riot I remember....and who was the fuckin Mountain Man that was afraid of snakes....wasn't that Filthy? I guarandamntee you some or all of you are still lurking in these places, but fuck if I know, or care, who the fuck begot who and ended up as you are now. All I know is, I've stayed Roof from day 1....not so you remember who I am, but so I can remember (Got Weed?).

Anyways, I don't have it in me to squabble over piddily shit on these boards anymore. I'm down for a good debate or a good discussion, or to slap a tard back in his place, and to read and wait for the next "you fucking idiot" slur by mvscal. But I gotta admit, I kinda miss the old days sometimes.

Yeah, going to my daughters HS graduation tonite rather than logging on to this message board to see if some dumbfuck has called me out might have been a reason, ya' think?
Not surprised. Gutlessness will do that for you.
You've got a lot of surprises in store for you then, slappy.

Of all the things I've been accused of on these here boards over the years, "gutlessness" hasn't been one of them, and rightly so. I never back down from a fight, especially not a fight with a limp dick cupcake such as yourself.

Roofer was right in his initial post. Maybe you was the shit back in 2000, but your game has grown stale and hasn't evolved, or improved.

My fucking God, you're still talking about using "plungers". Oooohhh, like I said, that's some real scary ammunition you've got stored in that awesome smack arsenal of yours...except that the expiration date on that powder was like 5 fucking years ago.

Now, you want to talk about being a true chickenshit...Look no further than ChargerMike. Don't get me wrong, he's ok in my book, but dude never met a pile on he wouldn't readily join in on...as long as it looked nice and safe like, and the guy on the bottom wouldn't come up ripping, snorting, and tearing heads off.

But back to the little gimp Ramsfan who called me out:

You haven't impressed me one bit up until this mis-guided effort, and now that you're supposedly working with the A-game...I'd throw in the towell again if I was you. Sure, you'll get some semi-worthless props occasionally from the weak sisters around here, but if that's what floats your boat, you're pretty much trying to float upstream without a paddle.

The fact that you got any love whatsoever for this piece of shit attempt at running smack is a rather stinging indictment of the lame-ass ineptitude of these environs lately....nice job of helping to lower the fence to a level that even you can get over it, gimp.

As I just finished watching the News tonight (yeah, left coast), I thought for a second that other dads were probably attending some High School Graduation exercises.

In that vein, rack you WW. Lil Luth has her grad party in my backyard next Saturday, and I think she dons the cap and gown the following Friday or Saturday.

I've chronicled hauling all that fucking 2 inch to 8 inch river rock, that defies a shovel that is plunged into the 6 foot pile that was in my driveway. I could have used your help, mang. In fact, I wish that I would have had everyone in this thread, sans ChargerMike, helping me out. I wouldn't want to have to give him the CPR shit, as that would probably cause me to need CPR, and then the daisy chain just goes on and on with this Athletic bunch of posters. Don't let this go to your head, WW, but we do have one thing in common. Our ladies are off and running.

I called my broker today and told him to, "Prepare to begin the drain," and he just laughed. Lil Luth is going to Lil' Notre Dame, ...the Univ. of Portland. GREAT place, but me hosting all of you limp ass dicked fuckers for a freebie night with 3 call girls each, is...well...GONE.

You will have to settle for a hand finish from Guy Fawkes' ex-roomie. Actually, WW, you didn't really even need to respond. Funny how these old smackers show up on the same thread, now and then, smack themselves or tell stories and then we forget what the fuck is happening.

I mean, really, you'd probably garner a huge amount of Ronnie type LOL's if you stacked all your stories back to back. Start at the Mexicans, those people who challenge your morning, Sgt. Major Dickerson rants of "Assemble people, for we will be productive," to the travel on with the wife and kids, borrowing the Griswald wagon, and factor in the chain link fence and that gate that haunts you like that kid that always says, "I see dead dogs." hahaha Remember? Then progress onto the family, kneeling amidst the heat and humidity of Missoura', as the TRANE van drove past?

All those goofy little Popsicle stick memorial headstones for all those pets that "just didn't make it," ...GolDarn WW, you could re-cap your life right here and now, and I doubt there would be a dry eye in the place. Not necessarily crying per se, but who gives a shit? You could bring down the house, Wagon. Don't PM me anymore for tips, just go for it.

Rack everyone in this thread. RaiderJames has all the cool hyphenated words, some which I still don't understand. Roofer and Jay are so deep, and I bet they could have some great conversations. ChargerMike and I are just too old to be any factor whatsoever. I'm happy I survived my ordeal in the bathroom last week, that I could buy ya'll a beer.

Rack everyone here, for crissakes.

Anyways, Luth...I'm glad that I only have one child, because sitting thru that 4 hour ordeal is one that I promise I won't go thru again for anyone.

But yeah, Mom and I are rather proud that we helped her get to this point.

She'll be off to college now, where I'm hoping she'll do just fine. The door will always be open for her if/when she wants to come back.

...spot on Wag's, like Luth said, I've gotta taker easy these days. Have to pick my spots and make sure I don't jump in over my head. Damit, you wern't suppose to notice!

No problemo, it's all good.

I'm off now to a ball tournament and won't return til late. Just wanted to give Jay a heads up in case he wonders why I'm "conspicuously absent". :P

Have a great Memorial Day weekend everyone.

But hey, this thing was all for the benefit of War Winkie. And I notice he's been rather conspicuously absent.

Not surprised. Gutlessness will do that for you.
Yes peeps, Jay was the Smack Off Champ way back when the smack was fresh and the combatants were inspired. He is the only guy that could kick my ass and I would laugh at my beatdowns because he thinks about how to make fun of you while typing.

If you think about it, he does you a favor by making you crack up while pounding you down. Good stuff.

Wags... please go on, you are the annoying fly buzzing around and a flyswatter will soon be packing you up. :winkie:

Hey WW, actually glad to see you came back here. And in all seriousness, and strong or weak smack aside, congrats on your daughters HS graduation. The "gutlessness" comment was just a needle under the skin to see where the hell you were.

Okay, here's the real poopie.

Let's just say, that since I've mosied my way onto this board, the one thing that I've found consistant, is the lack of the way things used to be "in the Olden Dayze". Here, it's all religion and politics and current affair fights and pissing wars. Nary a dollop of the kind of story-telling (except perhaps for Luther's yarns) we used to get off on back in SC's 1,2, and 3. Then, it was all about how you could take someone's personality and writing style and spin it into slice and dice yuk-fest that was at once and total put-on and a throat slashing. Just plain fun for all ages!

I kinda miss that. So, here you were, offering up a bit of Cardinal/Royal talk, and I jumped at the chance. I mean, you did offer it up on a freaking silver platter. So I knocked on it old-school style. And seriously, how is that much different than most of the name-calling, profane riddled bullshite that so infests these environs.

This was all about crackin' coconuts...nothing more.

Sorry ya' took it so damn much to heart. Ah well.

Back to the retirement home with my old ass.

Or not.

Footnote.....is that really you nostra? If it is, big, big how's it going!

It's cool, Jay.

I've been skewered by the best, but never fail to come back swing...err...flailing... away at the persecutor.

For someone who doesn't intentionally go around looking to pick a fight, I sure have managed to get in my fair share of 'em. I learned pretty damn quick that you had best be able to laugh at yourself from time to time, and to never take things (yourself) too seriously.

I've also gotten to the point where I only respond to the poisonous barbs of those of whom I actually have some begrudging respect for.
