Just think, that series we just had was without you facing our top 2 starters.

Ortiz is a one man wrecking crew. If a base is open, I'd walk him everytime.

David Wells should have retired.

Ted Lily owns you.

- Jays also did not face the Sox top Starter (Schilling)

Ortiz is a one man wrecking crew. If a base is open, I'd walk him everytime.
- David was a very nice addition to the Sox!
- On the Jays side, Vernon Wells is a 5 tool STUD!! Now that he has support around him in the lineup. He will get recognized as the SuperStar that he is throughout Baseball.

David Wells should have retired.
- David Wells has a few more quality games left in him.. Problem is, He has many more bad games in him also!!

Ted Lily owns you.
DUH!- Lilly improved to 5-0 with a 1.76 ERA in his last seven starts against Boston dating back to an Aug. 23, 2004, start when he struck out a career-high 13 in a 3-0 win. He has seven 10-strikeout games in his career, four of them against Boston.

Maybe this will be the Year, that the Jays can be enter in the AL East race as True Contenders!!-- Let's see where they are in September!!

Dude was sweating profusely before he threw his first pitch... either that or someone turned on the infield sprinklers during his pre-game warm-up pitches.

I can't wait to see how he fares during the dog days of summer as opposed to the "balmy" 52 degrees it was the other night.

Boomer's headed back to the DL with a sprained right knee.
His knee must be having trouble holding up all that weight! :P

His replacement in the rotation didn't fair much better...

The brooms are out in preparation for tommorrow.
Luckily for the Sox, Lilly's not pitching so you still have a chance to avoid being swept.

Ortiz is freak'n Jays killer..

In all seriousness, this is going to be a great matchup throughout the season and it's going to be sweet seeing the Yankees looking up at the two teams above them in the east come September.

ESPN wrote:The new-look Blue Jays are 4-1 against AL East rival Boston and have scored at least seven runs in each of those wins.

"I've been here four years and that is the best team they've had," said Red Sox slugger David Ortiz, who went 0-for-4.
Halladay was sharp!! Vernon Wells continued to SHINE!! The supporting cast... supported!!

This Blue Jays Team are a good team... as long as the can stay Healthy..
(Burnett cannot spend the season on and off the DL, if the Jays are going to contend down the stretch!)

and it is nice to see the Yankees in the basement... BUT I do not expect them to stay there.. They have too much talent !! but they do have serious pitching issues to deal with!!

True.
The Jays are a different team. They go out and model themselves as the DevilJays w/those hideous uniforms (last year) but they got some bats in their lineup. They're the 'Rays with money.

What was once an easy series win is now a tough battle in the AL east.

Home or away.

Sox need Coco Crisp in their lineup if they intend to be a force.

Looking ahead, it will not become any easier facing these Rays....I mean 'Jays.

You think?

3 homerun game by Wells
2 homerun game by Glaus..

And tommorrow the brooms are out with the Sox throwing a Double A pitcher to the wolves...
While Lilly goes for the Jays and we all know his record against Boston.
