kind of Sgt. Peppers/XTC psychedelic pop thing. check em out. they are pretty good.

Thy're part of the Elephant 6 Collective which is a group of like-minded psych/pop bands. Most of them are worth at least a listen if you like Apples In Stereo, and the new Minders disc is especially good.

that's interesting....one of my former students i trade music with has given me Beulah, Essex Green, Of montreal, and NMH over the years.....and Dressy Bessy is from Denver. and he's the one who gave the Apples.

maybe i'll have to dig that stuff out again.

speaking of Denver. I recall a band called the Psycedelic Zombies. wonder what ever became of them
