Asking for explainations after ducking every single question that's been asked of you in this thread?
Awesome.
OK...ONCE AGAIN...
At which times do you believe it is acceptable to aim a firearm in the general direction of a human head?
I even gave you the NRA's answer to this question to help you with your research, but now I'm interested in YOUR answer.
Fire away. It's the issue that is at the center of this discussion(aka "beating"), yet you won't adress it.
Wonder why that is?

I think BSmack is implying that the weapon's barrel is not pointed at his head. While it might LOOK like it's pointing there .... it might not actually be.
Meanwhile the vast majority of people who have handled weapons are suggested it's poor form, no matter what it looks like.

I'll offer an answer to Master Dinsdale's question .....
"It is acceptable to aim a firearm in the general direction of a human head when you plan on killing owner of said human head".

Again, I don't see the gun aimed at Gore's head. I see it tilted to the side.Dinsdale wrote:At which times do you believe it is acceptable to aim a firearm in the general direction of a human head?
Notice how Gore is clearly leaning to the right?
Notice also how Gore's hands are both on the strap? Yet the gun barrel is clearly outside the scope of Gore's hands?
But hey, I'm sure the drugs are better up in the U&L.

That wasn't a firing range, that was in the field. Under God knows what conditions.mvscal wrote:Yes, I'm going to presume that he did not clear the chamber. We have a winner!
BASIC GUN SAFETY RULES - Anyone who touches a firearm should know these by heart.
1. Treat every firearm as if it were loaded.
2. Never allow the muzzle to point at anything you are not willing to see destroyed.

Holy. Fucking. Shit.
OK, I know this will be ignored, but I'll give it a whirl anyway --
Would you care to quote where I bought into any "dittotard propaganda?"
Uhm...I'll take your answer off the air?
Let today be known as the day that BSmack decided that proper handling of firearms is now a partisan political issue.
And if that's the case, then kiss my ass and call me the Senate Majority Leader. I guess it's off to the voter registration office for me.

Never thought I'd say that in a million years....but apparently someone put a gun to my head and made me do it.

Which brings us back to the inevitable conclusion that he was a complete Gomer.

Just some food for thought.

SAN DIEGO – A man who brought an assault rifle to a Mount Hope auto shop accidentally shot and wounded a 17-year-old co-worker Friday morning as he was showing the gun off.
The shooting happened at Fleet Supply Inc. on Market Street near 41st Street at 8:21 a.m., said San Diego police Detective Gary Hassen.

The 42-year-old man who brought the Kalashnikov rifle, commonly known as an AK-47, to work did not know the gun was loaded, Hassen said.
There was no ammunition clip in the gun, but it still had a round in the chamber that discharged when the man pulled the trigger, police said.
The teenager was hospitalized with wounds to his right hip and left buttock, police said.
The gun's owner was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
No one else was injured in the incident, police said.

Doin the A=B=C thing as well eh? Of course nobody said that you shouldn't clear the chamber. But hey, let's not let facts get in the way now.

B, just providing an up to date story showing that rounds may still be in a chamber after the clip is removed.
You are the one using the Already Been Cornholed* logic by assuming that Gore cleared the chamber before he leaned his melon near the business end of his gun disregarding common sense gun safety.
*RACK Poptart, that was a good one

I must have missed something...
since when is it cool to point a firearm at or near a human head, regardless whether one has checked the chamber or not?
Did I miss something?
And as far as your stupid fucking "it's pointed to the side" argument...
His head isn't turned up and behind him. He has no way of verifying whether it is aimed at any of his fellow soldiers' heads or not.
Yup...still in violation of Rule #1, regardless whether it's aimed directly at his melon or not, and regardless whether he checked the chamber or not.

What other soldiers? There's no other humans in the picture. You really just don't fucking get it, do you?
Take a gun safety course sometime, and get back to us. You might then agree with...let's see....every single person in this thread who has.
Maybe there isn't any humans in the direction that weapon is aimed. The part you're not catching on to, is that IT DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER.
Not sure why this mystifies you so much, apart from sheer stupidity.
He's not looking in the direction the barrel is aimed. He has no way of knowing what it's aoimed at. Period. Non-negotiable. That JUST IS NOT DONE. EVER.
Not sure which part of that you're struggling with...seriously.
He is in violation of gun safety rule #1. Period. End of fucking story. Just because it's convenient for you to rewrite the rules of gun safety that have been in place for over a century because it's convenient for the sake of your (moronic) argument, it doesn't make it so.
Sorry, bud. If you aren't looking that way, you don't aim a gun that way...ever. And in that pic, he is CLEARLY(your word of the day) not looking in the direction his weapon is aimed...just NOT DONE.

If I was beating my own ass as badly as you are right now, I'd look for any diversion I could, too.
My post was based on what YOU claim was going on in the pic.
My "story" isn't the slightest bit dependent on (or concerned with) what mvscal has to say.
But you definitely need to keep ducking and running at this point...you have no other choice, you're in it DEEP.

Brian,
It doesn’t even matter if he was looking straight down the barrel or if the bullet would have simply whizzed past his ear. He is obviously mis-handling the weapon. Gun safety class teaches you that. My son learned it at age 12. God, you are truly retarded to keep arguing the point.

Hey, it worked for Nixon.
That being said, how do you explain how you and mv came to the exact opposite conclusion regarding where the weapon was being pointed? Kinda goes to my whole point which is that the picture cannot possibly tell the whole story. My post was based on what YOU claim was going on in the pic. Ok.... let's grant B Monica this... maybe Boy Wonder is not looking directly down the barrel, and it is off to the left of his dome a bit. Then why is Gore looking to his left as he is leaning right? If he was looking down the barrel of the gun, he would be looking TOWARDS the camera.
Can we talk about muzzle blast here ??
The weapon has a flash suppressor on it, so the actual fire from the barrel will be reduced, but there is a substantial amount of concussive shock, particulate projection and NOISE when and IF the weapon discharges.
Think he can skate on any injury from those problems B Monica ??
