Be very afraid...
The math teacher where I work is an überTrekkie (he and his wife spent spring break at the Star Trek-themed hotel in Vegas) and tossed me this link:
Star Trek: The New Voyages
God knows we needed to have a new set of folks to play out the last two years of Kirk et al.'s five-year mission.
The zeal of some folks for a frigging TV show scares the crap out of me sometimes.

I downloaded one episode. I barely made it through the opening credits. That is the worst acting I have ever seen. It makes Shatner look like John Gielgud. Seriously, that tripe is getting deleted NOW.

This stuff makes the original series look like Shakespeare.OCmike wrote:Clearly they're just trying to stay true to the original series.BSmack wrote:That is the worst acting I have ever seen.

The show should be judged on its true merits:
Is there super hot chicks in some sort of skin-tight costumes --
A) Yes
or
B) No
It's that simple....in my oversimplified world, anyway. Was the acting good in Voyager? Most certainly not. Was it a GREAT show?
Certainly...or at least 7 out of every 9 episodes.

Figure out a way to mix in Crossing Jordan and Charmed, and they'll have at least one loyal viewer..."must see TV"...probably with the mute button firmly pressed.

And neutro-gena within arm's reach ....
I'm not familiar with "charmed" though ... who is the broad in that one ?
With all the horseshit around here, you'd think there'd be a pony somewhere.

My man, you have cheated yourself out of the most spankable show in TV history for the last several years.
Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan wearing as little clothing as possible....any more questions?
The mute button is your friend.

Yep. Best background eye candy on TV.

I'm not worries about their (low) potential physical threat, but their integration into the dork-ruled technology sphere.mvscal wrote:If you fear Trekkies, you might wanna work out a little more.Mike the Lab Rat wrote:The zeal of some folks for a frigging TV show scares the crap out of me sometimes.
