I heard last night about him falling ill...I honestly thought he died a couple years ago. You wonder if the Braves are sending their condolences.

He had moments but I would agree that he wasn't one of the best.

He was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet though. I managed to meet him quite a few times when I went to Phillies games and when I went to Chickie and Pete's outside the stadium. A real class act.

Rack that Jim. Met him once at a game.. MLB lost a great man...
