2006 Stanley Cup Champion Hurricanes

Post by Blitzkrieg »

AQ's ship finally, improbably, came in.

I'm good with that. Doug Weight(LSSU) and Rod Brindamour(MSU) have always been money in my book.

War the greatest trophy in all of sport.

Unwar the finals being carried on OLN.
Defense wins championships.

At least it'll be on NBC the rest of the way...unfortunately, the series might not last longer than 2 more games though.

No more NHL on OLN...Versus premieres in the fall.

You think? Just my luck, I have to wear this sig until the Oilers are bounced. So nice of them to go for three more rounds.

You have to give me credit for being a good sport throughout the whole ordeal. I know my sig for you wouldn't have nearly as diabolical but then again, I don't know enough about you. That's probably a good thing...

Rack Aaron Ward(U of M) for playing well in the finals... again.

If I am not mistaken that makes 3 rings for the big lug.

Thought you were a Sparty?

You are right though, that is 3 titles for Wardo. I'm sure he would've loved winning that series against the Wings in '02 with the way they literally threw him on the trash heap. He's always been a steady player...he's the type of player the Wings need right now. In fact, there are a lot of gamers from these two teams that I would kill to have. The Wings have regular season performers but they don't have the right guys to succeed in the postseason like they've had in the past. Props again to Ray Whitney for winning his first title after the Wings bought him out last summer. If we could do it all over, I would've loved to keep the three guys they got rid of.
