I'm sure some of you snobs are aware of this by now, but the NPR Live Concert Series has a download for an OUTSTANDING recent B&S show. This band is very clean and tight live. Screw_Mich gave me the heads up on this.
Other shows to listen to on there include stuff from the New Pornos, The Walkmen, Arctic Monkeys and Sigur Ros.

b&s is one of the greatest live bands around. they are the pearl jam of british chamber pop when it comes to the number of different songs they play live. it's fucking incredible. i have four different boots of theirs and there is probably only five or six of the same consistant songs on them.

the new album gets better every time i listen to it. stuart murdoch is one of the best songwriters of our generation. and not to mention the band as a whole is incredible.
i wouldn't classify if you're feeling sinister as week, just the most experimental b/s album. there are some classic tracks on it, just as a whole isn't very accessible, in my opinion.

i think that record is pretty accessible and poppy....the better cuts are the ones that clearly influenced by Marc Bolan....IMHO.
the opening verses of Blues are still Blue, for example....
