just took 3rd in freeroll on Titan

Caished $200.

Pisses me off though cause I had the big stack when down to final 3. Me--100,000 and other two 50,000.

Asshole who crippled me raised with 8-5 and caught trip 8s on the flop. Asshole slowplayed it and I had open ended straight draw on turn and only cost 5,000 to see final card. The guy's all like, "what you have 8's"... trying to be sneaky. At that point I know he has 8s but it was worth to call. When I don't hit my draw and he wins he's all "lollollol".

Then next hand I min-raise from button with Q-9s and asshole (who had put me all in 2 hand before when I min raised with k-2s) puts me all in again, and I have to call cause blinds were so big. He turns over 7-7 and I lose the race.

200 is nice, but 2nd was 400 and 1st was 600 (before that each place was only worth like another 30 bucks).

This is 2nd time I came in 3rd when down to final 3 in a MTT.

i deposited 40. to give it a try, i think lobby sucks and interface, but table play is nailz. you can actually tell who has cards, gameplay is solid.nice. much better than pp

like how they show your cards,and flop in chat screen.

What limit you playing at on Titan...I deposited some yesterday and so far have not fared well...so many donks...perhaps it is due to the level I am playing at...?

I'm playing mainly 2/4 and 3/6 limit. Occassionally 5/10, and occasionally 10/20 if I find a game juicy enough.

I don't play their tourneys regularly because I don't like their offerings (except for the freerolls, of course). UltimateBet, Party, and Pokerstars are probably best for tourneys.

Well, I play 6-max tables as well. Could be different if you're not.

(note: don't play 6-max tables if you're used to full tables and playing full-table strategy).

But people not knowing what they're doing is what I want.

Sure they call you down and drive you mad when you have top pair/top kicker and they catch their 2-4 outer on the river.

But they are also paying me off all those times they don't catch, where good players won't.

Sometimes variance kicks you in the ass, but sometimes it can be very good to you. When I'm running cold I always tell myself, hey, if this was chess and I was the best player here, no one would be willing to gamble their money against me. Poker makes even idiots feel like they can be winners somtimes.

Oh I usually buy in at the table for 200 or so. This is limit, though, not NL.
