The guy made a concious decision to steal from other people not once, not twice, but THREE times. And that's just the times he got caught. Fuck him and his addictions. If he gets life, I won't lose a second of sleep.

But his record only shows a drug-abusing repeat felon.

Hence the life sentence is justified.

In fall 1998, Hahn went on a four-month methamphetamine-fueled spree of burglarizing garages, cars and houses in Saratoga, according to court records.

When he was caught, he pointed out the places he had burglarized. In one instance, he took guns, ammunition and a safe with $20,000 worth of jewelry and cash from his former Little League coach, Keith Barna, who was away on vacation.

Does this sound like the kind of guy you want back on the streets because he did one decent thing?
