just would like to mention that yankee hotel foxtrot is one of rock's most underrated albums and a ghost is born is pretty fucking epic as well.

Jeff Tweedy is a self-absorbed twat. I thought YHF was great the first time I listened to it, but now I think it's completely overrated, and A Ghost Is Born is unlistenable. Give me Summerteeth or Being There any day.

Count me as one of those that just doesn't "get" Wilco.

They're OK, but nowhere near deserving the hype that Rolling Stone, Spin, and all the "tragic hipsters who make a point of liking bands that no one else likes or has heard of" give them.

I might assess them differently if they didn't have all the baggage of the aformentioned hype.

I definitely think they are overrated. YHF has some nice stuff, but I tired of it very quickly.

I'm more of a Farrar fan anyway...
