i think it's 5 discs but if you like garagey-60's rock it's hard to beat. in the same vein as the Nuggets series but even more obscure bands, I'd have to think.

of course, my earliest musical memories were 45's my uncle gave me of ? and Mysterians, the Tremeloes, the Decades, Electric Prunes...and some Beatles stuff from Help!......etc.

When I was a Cave Teen I had a few of these LPs. I'm out of the loop now, but the first band I was in was a garage cover band...we did:

Smokestack Lightnin'
I'm not like everybody else
No way out
Sometimes good guys don't wear white

...and some stuff like that. We were called the Cybermen.

In 11th grade, my family took a trip to London, and I got me some beatleboots and some psychedelic shirts on Carnaby Street. I wore a Maltese Cross, etc.

State College PA - hotbed of garage rock!

holy cats! that was the 45 i had. i haven't heard that song in 20-25 years.

KC, I just got a chance to check out the CD you sent. Thanks! BFTG is fucking awesome. I used to have two of these records...but it's been a while.
