Be careful what you post in the future, Dins. I'll be watching. If you decide one day to have a take on anything in an era before yours, it will be null and void...all according to YOUR logic. And I will be there to throw it in your face.Dinsdale wrote:Screw_Michigan wrote:cars self-titled. one of my all time favorites.
We should all just be thankful that the Cars never sold out.

Pink Floyd's Animals is a great one. Probably the least over played of their records. Maybe that's why I can still enjoy it..Dinsdale wrote:
And that last one pictured there....I believe that one has spent time in the #1 position on the list of Dinsdale's All-Time Favorites. Might even get a whirl today.

That band kicks ass. they sound like Motor head meets George thourgoodSmackie Chan wrote:Have heard many of them, but one of 'em I haven't is ...
However, I did see them as the opening act for Black Oak Arkansas & Blue Oyster Cult in Long Beach back around '76. They were pretty good, from what I could tell.
No excuse. There's some great music to be heard in long extended jams.Dinsdale wrote:War Wagon wrote:True, but Shine On You Crazy Diamond doesn't get near enough play.
Maybe that has something to do with it being like 14 minutes long?
Woke Up This Morning kicks ass! Telegram, their cover of Joni Mitchell's This Flight Tonight, I Want To Do Everything For You, Razamanaz, and Expect No Mercy are pretty cool, too. Saw them w/ Blackfoot in Phoenix in the early '80's. Not a bad show.Sudden Sam wrote:Hair of the Dog - typical Nazareth. Couple good tunes, but you gotta deal with McCafferty's voice. First album had a monster tune in "Morning Dew" and Razamanaz had a great song in "Woke Up This Morning". Can't listen to more than a song or two at a time of theirs.
Always a good fallback tune to put on when I was a deejay and wanted to blaze.Dinsdale wrote:War Wagon wrote:True, but Shine On You Crazy Diamond doesn't get near enough play.

The first part is 13½ minutes long, the second half is 12½ minutes.Dinsdale wrote:War Wagon wrote:True, but Shine On You Crazy Diamond doesn't get near enough play.
