An Ecclectic Mix, Can you name the band?
So I'm bored here today, waiting for some computer runs to finish up so I decided to update my Ipod with a few changes. Like I said i'm bored so I typed up a list of the album/cd names, who can name the band/bands. Many are quite obvious, how about some of the few obscure ones. It is only a 4 gb Nano so this is all I could get on it.
Still bored, so lets see what was picked out, plus the self titled.

a lotta love for Minny's "Do You Remember" and such.
Gas Food Lodging: Green on Red
Kerosene Hat: you oughtta check out the LP's Medicine Show and Days of Wine and Roses...from an earlier but related venture.
Anthology, like Best of...: that's gonna be a tough one, IMHO. :D

Floyd and Clash fan, much?
The self-titled ones probably aren't stumping anyone, either.
I just googled Rockin At Ground Zero. Never heard of Gear. When I saw it, I thought you typo'ed, and meant Party At Ground Zero...I could have told you who that was.
Dumb game, since I don't know a lot of them.

Wrong band, there are a couple of others on the list by the same band that put out Kerosene Hat. Back in the day I had The Dream Syndicate's Medicine Show on vinyl. Good album, I wouldn't mind tracking down a CD.Kerosene Hat: you oughtta check out the LP's Medicine Show and Days of Wine and Roses...from an earlier but related venture.
Hint, SST Label.Anthology, like Best of...: that's gonna be a tough one, IMHO.
Shit Dins, I thought you knew everthing. The Gears, punk-rockabilly from early 80's punk scene in LA.

The Trinity Sessions has logged some serious hours in my tape deck. If the world was fair, The Cowboy Junkies would be outselling Jay-Z 50 to 1.

you are right, the Steve Wynn (former Dream Syndicate) record was "Kerosene Man" not "Hat". I'm not much of a Cracker fan but Camper Van has some moments.
i was a big fan of teh Screaming Trees Buzz Factory on SST--purple vinyl (oh yeah!). had invisible lantern too.
was kind of disappointed with the Chris Cornell produced Uncle Amnesia or whatever it was called.
