Good...the Brown/Frolov/Garon trade for Luongo I was hearing was way too much.

Auld isn't that much better of goalie than Garon but the Panthers get a proven scorer on the wing and a promising defenseman. Bertuzzi needs a change of scenery...the guy is still capable of scoring 40 goals. He and Jokinen could be a deadly pair. I figured the Panthers would look for a defenseman in return...that's kind of why I thought the Wings wouldn't get involved since Keenan probably wanted Kronwall in return. I've said for the longest time the Canucks would never amount to anything with Cloutier as their goalie. They become dramatically better with Luongo in net with a solid blueline in front of him and the Canucks get rid of the distractions surrounding Bertuzzi. I'd look for them to have a big turnaround season in '06-07.

Curious to see where the goalie carousel from here. Vancouver and Toronto upgrade their goaltending with Luongo and Raycroft respectively. Is Los Angeles in the market for a goalie or are they looking to rebuild and not spend money on a goalie? Ottawa and Detroit are definitely in the market still. Nabokov being linked to the Senators and Biron and Gerber being two names as possibilities for the Wings. I was wondering if Holland was looking to make a move and he traded out of the 29th pick and picked up two second rounders. I would've guessed he could've turned those around and picked up Biron. We'll find out what they'll do now that the big fish is now out of play.
