From now on...
I'm going to post in a large, bolded green font, and troll for indignant replies by posting pseudo-intellectual drivel on subjects that I really am clueless on, and played out insults designed to elicit replies in kind.
Stay tuned...

Yeah, Mikey. This is not nearly as hilarious as say, appointing yourself as the boards grammar and spelling checker.

You can split hairs if you want to, but
Is pretty damn close.
But the real question - is it funnier than Jimmy Kimmel?

No, it's not "pretty damn close" nor is it a matter of "splitting hairs". You're just completely wrong.Mister Bushice wrote:You can split hairs if you want to, but

When someone says they're "bringing it back", that means they're attempting to once again make something "popular". Just because you're unfamiliar with the context of that phrase, doesn't mean you need to try and bring me down with you. To say "I'm making spelling and grammar smack popular once again" is not the same as saying, "I will be checking all posts for spelling and grammar mistakes."
Get it now?
Sure is a good thing I don't have to bring back reading incomprehension smack, as well.

Damn straight, seeing as how you missed the whole point of you busting on Mikey for this thread as being kimmel level humor.Sure is a good thing I don't have to bring back reading incomprehension smack, as well.
You should bring back pot/kettle smack first.

Just pointing out that busting on Mikey for this thread while creating that comedic gem of your own doesn't really make your "leave the comedy to the rest of us" comment hold much water.
Just sayin'.

I'm just wondering if Mgo would please to explain the difference between "Leno" level and "Kimmel" level humor.
I've never watched Kimmel and haven't been able to stomach Leno since he went to the uber gay pink and violet L.A. set backdrops. I guess there's a subtle or not so subtle difference, but really I have no idea wtf you are referring to (should that be one "r" or 2's?).
Now, if you'd care to put it in terms of "Colbert" level, "Stewart" level or "Mencia" level I might get the hint.

Good plan. You could also make it blink in pink. That ought to cause a few extra seizures among the bitter old men, at least.Hey Mikey wrote:Mister Bushice wrote: wrote:

I almost decided on pink instead of green, but I figured I should leave at least a small amount of headroom for increased levels of obnoxiousness.
Also, I meant to capitalize my sentences in that post, but the spelling and grammar cop missed it so I guess I'm in the clear. ~whew

I hear ya. I was rereading a post the other day and I used a whatever type of nym it is where you use the wrong spelling of a word. Looks like our new spellcheck cop is spending more time at the donut shop than cruising for violations.Mister Bushice wrote:Also, I meant to capitalize my sentences in that post, but the spelling and grammar cop missed it so I guess I'm in the clear. ~whew
