But I think this is about to change. The dope on Big Papi is being passed around as to how to get him out. Jam him up and in, breaking pitches down and in. Papi's passed his prime. His strike out #'s are going to start to soar now while his RBI's will flatten out.

You might want to fill MLB pitchers in on this bit of genius. Apparently nobody is reading the book on him. OH and if you try to jam him inside he will launch that inside fastball into the stands. I watch this guy on a daily basis. He has no holes........

WRONG.

I also watch him on a daily basis. If it's an inside fastball that he lines past the Pesky Pole, then it wasn't inside enough. And he's been getting fooled by the slider quite a lot lately. Put those two pitches together with fastballs away from the strike zone and you can get him out. And it's going to get a lot easier to get Ortiz out from now on. You're seeing the end of the Big Papi 9th inning heroics.

Big Papi is off the charts. I'll sort of change my pick...I'll take Pujols for the 1st through 8th innings but I'll take Ortiz in the 9th inning with the game on the line. There's no doubt in my mind that Ortiz will repeat as AL MVP...even if he doesn't play another game the rest of the season.
