I've heard bits and pieces of the CD. Its good from what i've heard.

I really wanted it to be heavier. I've always wanted to hear what Jack White would sound like with a "real" band backing him up. I was hoping for more guitar solos and stuff. This is just really poppy Beatles-esque stuff. I like a few of the songs, but overall, I'm disappointed.

Don't discount Brendan Benson's contribution to the record (which I really like, by the way). He can write a hook just about as well as JW can.

De Stijl is a great album one of my favs from the white stripes.
