It's been doomed to fail every year since inception, but somehow we always manage to get our shit together just in time and run a damn fine FFL. I expect no different this year.
Anways, we've got 12 solids and a few AWOLS, maybe we look for a few newbies if the regs don't show?
Anyone think that jiminphillys' wife will let him come out and play this year?
Nah, me neither.

pretty sure that there's going to be an opening.BBMarley wrote:I'm in if there is an opening... I just need the scoring system and fees
Ok, going out on a limb here, but I nominate Marley as a future Jackass.
You seem solid, but then again, so did jim.
Just don't wait until the last fucking day before the draft to inform us that your wife won't let you play.
The fee is $50
The scoring you don't need to worry about. Yet.

A few other tips...BBMarley wrote:Sounds good to me...
1. You cannot underestimate the value of Alge Crumpler. EVER.
2. Charger Mike is not known for making trades. If he makes an offer, TAKE IT.
3. Kickers, you can't have too many of them.
4. It is recomended that you have at least a 12 pack on hand for the draft.
5. If necessary, you may have your wife bid for you. Remember to tell her about the power that is Crumpler.
You're welcome.

We usually try to hold the draft during the week leading up to the season (the later, the better); however, the early games in recent years have pushed us back just a bit.
Our draft follows the auction format, takes place online and will almost certainly be four of the most enjoyable hours you'll spend on fantasy sports this season.
The endless barrage of voice chat smack over bad picks, stellar Pick Bot 7000 showings and KC Scott's four-hour progression through the stages of bourbon saturation truly make this a can't-miss event.

6. It's always best to draft at Kinko's to avoid computer malfunction at home.
7. Larry Johnson should go for around $60.00 zops, bail if you can't land him at that point.
8. The Raiduh Defense is much improved and should bolster your roster..shhhhhh!

Once you've done an auction type draft, you'll never want to go back to a serpentine draft. Trust me on this.BBMarley wrote:Sounds great! Auction will be a new thing for me... should be interesting.
It may be putting the cart before the horse, but you might want to check out http://www.fantasyauctioneer.com where we have the draft and make sure that you have all the capabilities you'll need by doing a mock draft.Just let me know if there is anything else I need to do.
If orc hasn't already given it to you, you can soon expect access to the fantabulous, super secret private forum where all of the inner circle Jackass dealings are hammered out.
Welcome aboard!

Yes, trust him on this.
I know I have never wanted to go back. :?
Don't trust me on that. See the real story is after I kicked their ass, they needed to find a way to level the playing field so I had to publicize my superior interests.
I guess, you would never want to go back if you don't prefer to actually prepare for a draft.
WW actually just says this because he wants me to respond about how I think it sucks so I should reward his cast and hook one right through my eye. Watch for the response he is anxiously awaiting to post.
Oh and you will have to cross your fingers that if you are in the 6 hole for the playoffs that nobody in the 7+ hole has more points than you because your win loss record will be irrelevent. :P
That all being said, prepare for me to dominate with a mighty 6-10 season. I am also planning on spending $185 on Larry Johnson just so none of these KC fucks can have him and I can guarantee myself of one quality pick. I also must insure that I leave no dollars unspent.
Striving to be a victim of Polly's plagiarizing ways.
