i think you're right.

fuck me for thinking they had any sort of credibility at all.

tmbg = sesame street for yuppie faggots.

ABCD song, in which all they did was sing a list of countries.

shit, Butt S. Pray could've had a better gig on conan the dork.

They're writing songs for kids now. What's the problem? Even Ian MacKaye is doing it.

My kids love TMBG, old and new. Their kid stuff is still good music.

Given their talent, TMBG is going to do some different things over the course of their existence.

good music, yeah. i think they're good musicians, and i guess that's why i was so bugged by the wacko performance. i dig the suits, i dig the Roller Boogie flashing background, i dig the sound.

the list seemed sesame street-ish and i couldn't figure out why.

i didn't realize it was kiddie music.

<lughead>

ps: even with their 'given' talent, there's still something unattractive about moving on to kiddie music. that reminds me of madonna writing books for children.

I don't see it that way. Madonna is not a skilled writer. TMBG are skilled musicians.

i agree, that she isn't skilled and i agree that they are.

i still think there is something cheesy as fuck about tmbg doing midget music.
