Not a damning indictment at all. Just struck me as funny. More than anything, it merely confirms the drunken-nightlife animal-fuck anything that moves persona you so frequently relate to the rest of the board.

And like I said, that's neither good nor bad, inherently. In fact, I did it for awhile myself, and I'm glad I did. But I'm also glad that those days are now behind me. Most of the time, anyway.

For me, the funniest part of every one of Patsy's "my supervisor said this" threads is knowing that the object of Patsy's ridicule is Patsy's supervisor. Now that is funny.

That's kind of what I think every time I see these. It's not making fun of a peer, a direct report, or just a random coworker. It's pointing out the idiocy of the person who hired you.

She didn't hire me. The woman who hired me I have utmost respect for. She moved to California for personal reasons and we are currently missing an authority figure in the department. In the process of hiring. Anyway this girl isn't really my direct supervisor. She supervises the production artists and the new people. She's kinda the manager of the department, i.e. she is a workhorse and does a lot of stuff I would never want to do. She's actually very nice and is a hard worker, but the words that come out of her mouth make me chuckle!
