Once again no shows anywhere near Rochester. Or anywhere in Upstate NY period.

What ever happened to acts that would play all markets?

They figure the upstate NYers spend their disposable income tricking out their 86 IROC.

This is a "world" tour. There's nothing worldly about Crapchester.

i feel you, psu. some people get snobby when it comes to where they live when it comes to live music (i.e. east coasters), but i just feel fortunate to be within 3 1/2 hours of chicago and 2 1/2 hrs of detroit. more chicago than detroit, but you get my drift.

i'm really looking forward to seeing him again. i really didn't no much about him when i saw him last september, i had only listened to illinoise and michigan at most a few times beforehand. now, it'll be incredible. it'll be interesting to see him at the riv, when i saw him last time everyone was sitting down, and my friend and i were the only ones high and/or drunk at the show. it was weird to say the least. but it was probably the most respectful i've ever seen a crowd act at a indie/alternative/rock/underground show. lots of awkward laughter, too.

i really hope he busts out some shit from a sun came and perhaps the song "illinoise!" that would be epoch.

Ya know, it's good music and all, but it puts me to sleep! How exciting can he be live?

Whatever. Just don't come crying to me when these bands never have the same kind of universal appeal that touring acts in the 70s and 80s had. If they don't play here, why should we bother with them?

B, I'm sure you'll get a chance to see him when he does a full-on States tour. But if you take a look at those sites, you can't possibly expect upstate NY to have been included. I mean, just look at those US markets! Chicago, St. Louis, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Philly, NYC, San Fran, LA, Seattle, Austin, Portland, etc. You really expected to be lumped in with those heavy-hitters?

Just tryin' to put shit in perspective.
