WAR -- planting my ass in a leaky raft on the Clackamas River, and drinking myself into oblivion while scoping the thousands of hardbodied hotties wearing bikinis...or less.

Who knows, might even have to take one on as my first mate...you never know.

First birthday party for my daughter, then off to calling hours for my grandmother, who passed away Thursday at the age of 102. Talk about running the gamut of emotions.

I know this is a completely fireign conceot to you, but those of us that have stayed in shape and stayed active...believe it or not...crazy concept...

But healthy, in-shape people appeal to the opposite sex.

I know, I know...crazy concept.

But don't you worry your little self about the status of my weewee, trev...me and Little Dins are doing just fine. And we shall continue to do so.

Thanks for the concern, though.

Dins' liver, and Dins' Immortal Soul...well maybe not so much.
Fuck it. I've got my Fender Twin and a new ES335 and a pedalboard to re-wire. Throw some decent pizza into the mix and by my reckoning that's a pretty bitchin' Sunday night...

Got tired of typing so I'm web-surfing and... uhh... typing.

That being said, few things on this planet suck like the ESPYs. The network itself sucks. Do I need an entire award show dedicated to the same 5 teams and people they always suck off?

I think it's just another example sports today is always about style and not about substance. They try to be all down-to-earth and "feel good" with the story about the kid that scored 20 points in the high school game or any other human interest story they try to dig. The bottom line is ESPN craves contraversy and over-the-top personalities. That's why my beloved NHL will never be big on that network nor do I ever want them to get their grubby hands on them again. May it stay on OLN and away from the media whores in Bristol. I'm stunned they didn't do more digging on that Chris Pronger story though.

Sockeye salmon cooked over mesquite smoke (fuck off Dins)
Corn on the cob
Green salad
Sourdough rolls

After a week of Boy Scout camp food, this qualifies as pure luxury.

Watching a DVD of Time Bandits and drinking an Arrogant Bastard right now while the cooking is going on.

No need for TV.

Lance had a funny opening monologue! Great skits too so far! There are a lot of great athletes, singers, actors and actresses here like my man Matthew McCaunaghey who is sitting beside Vince Young tonight. Young got the award for best Championship performance, and Matthew is a big Texas fan. Rack Lance cracking on Bodie Miller

ESPNNEWS is all that network is good for...the 24/7 ticker is key.

But even recently, its anchors are starting to take a shine to themselves, moreso like the regulars on Sportscenter.

If you want some new material...a guy I work with is trying to hook me up with a woman that plays on his church league softball team. I met her the first time this past Thursday...she seems pretty cool. We'll see how things go...I'll see her again this week.

See what you bastards can do with that...

RACK...the Dane Cook is show pretty cool too but it's not been as good as I thought it would be. Too reality show-ish but still funny.

Grilled up some salmon burgers, corn, and yukon spuds for the family tonight. We're fixin' for some blazing weather tomorrow...96, high humidity...

Props to the Rainman kid.

Only five minutes of the show that I saw. I clicked to ESPN to catch some Sportscenter and this shitsucking show is still on.

FTFY. ESPN did an excellent job covering the NHL when they had the contract.

I think I'm a little more stable than he was...plus, I don't think I talked about ending it all either.
