The Evacuation of Lebanon
Seems like the Jew-run "liberal" media is ramping up the evacuation hysteria to clear all foreign nationals and foreign media out of Lebanon before they go "scorched earth" on the innocent Lebanese civilians.
The cattle-car jockeys sure learned a lot from their Einsatzgruppen tormentors, no?
"The only Democracy in the Middle East" my commie ass.
I guess when America's bullshit "Cedar Revolution" falls on it's face, it's time to call out the child killers.

For that matter, a couple miles south, where there's no blockade and no puffed up little tinhorn dictator, hey, they're still short little fuckers.

[pdf file] Tulsan eager to join Israeli cause [pdf file]
By Bill Sherman
World Religion Writer
While many Americans seek to leave Israel as Hezbollah rockets continue to drop on northern cities, a Tulsan is planning to move there, even though it means he will serve in the Israeli army.
“I see myself as a Zionist Jew,” said Scott Schiller, 19, who graduated from Jenks High School last year.
The idea of moving to Israel — called “making aliyah” — was planted when he first visited the Jewish homeland in 2003 after his sophomore year of high school, and was reinforced when he lived and worked on a kibbutz there during the summer of 2004.
After high school graduation, he spent nine months in Israel on a study and work tour, for which he received college credit.
When he returned to Tulsa in June, life here seemed somehow different.
“It wasn’t until about a week ago when I was watching the news and saw Haifa firefighters putting out a fire caused by a rocket launched from Hezbollah that (I realized) how much I wanted to go back to Israel and live there,” he said.
Schiller had worked with the Haifa Fire Department for three months as a volunteer and had developed friendships with the firefighters.
“I have seen war all my life on television here in the states,” he said. “The difference . . . was I had a friendship with those firefighters and I recognized most of them from when I volunteered in Haifa.”
He immediately started the paperwork to move to Israel and should be there in a few months.
Israel’s continuing troubles with Hezbollah have reinforced his decision.
“I feel better going now than waiting it out,” he said.
He said he is eager to participate in Israel’s three years of mandatory military service.
“I want to walk the walk, and that means serving my new country,” he said.
“Ever since Sept. 11, I have been 100 percent behind the United States when it comes to the war on terror taking out violent terrorist groups,” he said.
“I have never seen my Jewish homeland in such a state of war. As an American, I feel obligated to live by our country’s goal to uproot terrorist threats, but I as a Jew also feel obligated to protect my Jewish homeland.”
Schiller said his father, Tulsa physician Thomas Schiller, is “pretty supportive” of his plans.
His mother, Susan Briggs, is “a typical Jewish mother and is worried to death about it, but I think she’ll be OK,” he said.
“I love the United States, and I love Tulsa,” Schiller said.
“But now I want to live in Israel.”

Be it wise or folly, RACK that dude for standing up for something.
P.S. This guy is just one example of PSU's question in the other thread.

I never get involved in these threads because I can't be on here all day debating things and I'm not as smart as you history/world buffs... but I do know that there are a lot of beautiful places in the Middle East that people would want to vacation to (granted, when things aren't being blown up on a daily basis, which I know you will respond and say "that's never"). I've known many people who have travelled there on "vacation" and it's been an awesome experience for them. I would love to travel there one day myself, but not sure if that's ever going to be possible. Safely.
And yes, there are a lot of innocent people in Lebanon. Even some innocent Christian Arabs. The whole country is not all Muslim extremists. I hate reading all this hatred for everything Middle Eastern.

Actually, it's roughly 40/60 -- Christian/Muslim. Hezbollah represents about 25 percent at most, if I'm not mistaken.patsy stone wrote:The whole country is not all Muslim extremists.

Or maybe live a little bit and see where your civilization began. Soak it in. Drink some wine. Eat some dates. Get pickpocketed.
It's life.

Still waiting for that link to the great mecca of Arab universities I was asking for ... you know, in the thread that has expired, the one in which youDr_Phibes wrote:Well, someone sounds positively philisophical today. I never specifically did any of those things, at least in the thread in which you lost it. The only thing I did was put your pathetic ass on the floor, in your lame attempt at "arguing."Dr_Phibes wrote:And yes, that was where you called the place a shithole and questioned it's history and validity. Best compare notes with Wolfman, I think you share a similar sense of things.
As I recall ... your "argument" was something along the lines of how "noble" or "just" the Arab "cause" is.
Nice try.
