OK....I don't normally eat at MC D's. But I am a bit busy today, so I want a quick bite in a cool building. I pull in McD's and order up.

This dude walks in with the obligatory black folder, another dude pulls up, enters with same black folder and a third dude enters with the whole mother fucking lap top case.

The 2 older dudes sit on one side of the table, and the younger dude, probably a sales type, sits on the other. They go good cop, bad cop on dude as he try's to explain his sales pitch that he's going to make to one of their clients.

I watch a minute as I am not wasting time slopping the Big Mac into my grille, and the one dude gets his fucking lap top and boots up. They then wax on about production schedules, support process and all kinds of cubicle type bullshit.

If you are that important, and bucks up... why the fuck are you having a meeting at Mickey D's ? Maybe a city park.... ?? Maybe a decent resturant where you might be able to score a semi private area ??

Of course there was a couple of nice asses to look at in there but please Mickey Fucking D's....???

If you had a job that required interaction beyond " Yo ....move that pallet now mother fucker " you might understand. But since all your "business meetings" take place on the warehouse floor or loading dock...it is highly unlikey explaining it to you would do any good.

In the heart of high tech, you will find some 20 somethings who hit MIckey D's and still have not added additional poundage to their asses.....yet.

Dressing like the sluts they are does make for some nice eye candy, unless your War Wagon, and then you wonder if they are dykes like his daughter.

Some, McD's offer free wi-fi access. One of our consultants hates going to the office on the days he's not on-site, so he hangs at McD's, B&N and other places that offer free internet access. Of course he doesn't have face to face meetings at these places, which is kinda lame (unless they are co-workers).

We have a couple Clients - Sprint & Embarq immediatley come to mind, who won't let us on their Network to demo products.

We've had to pull up stakes and go to a Starbucks a couple miles down the road and get on their Wi Fi to be able to demo remote view access and monitoring

OK... so maybe more people suck than I orginally thought....I still don't get Mickey D's...a Starbucks..always has wi fi.....and around here we are blessed with A LOT of brew pubs with wi fi.....maybe it's just me and my business... we just really don't do the meetings much other than on job sites....

I could just imagine telling another contractor or supplier to meet me a Mickey D's....they would probably say " What the fuck dude...I aint't go time for that shit and the food sucks......"

One of my ex-gf's used to meet her ex for child exchange at a McDonalds on the Turner Turnpike, which runs between OKC and Tulsa (I-44, for the rest of us). It was a logical place to meet, with her ex. living in Tulsa and she living in Shawnee -- a complete shithole about 30 miles east of OKC.

That McDonalds btw, is to be avoided at all costs, at least if you are seeking anything resembling "food," and that's going on fucking McDonald's standards.

Hmmm... I could have used this advice in Tennesse a few years ago.

I had a consulting gig in Knoxville, and got done and was trying to make a late red eye back to Portland out of Nashville. I was hauling ass along the freeway and need some food bad.

Pulled into this Mc D's in Johnston City TN, and walked in. Fuck man... it was like I walked into the opening scene from Deliverance. After looking at the food and the idiots in the place, I turned around and left. I didn't make the red eye, but I did get a decent meal in the Music District,

When my current gf and I (and our two labs) drove from Tulsa to Charleston, S.C., earlier this year, we hit the Cracker Barrel, often. A little pricey compared to McDonald's, but then again we had more enough leftovers to feed our dogs, at $20-$25 or so, (including tip).

Plus we got to watch our dogs scare people and stuff.

At McDonalds on the Okla. turnpikes, nobody cares about charging labs. Probably due to them still being hungry and wondering what dog tastes like, after having a Turnpike Mickey D meal.

When my current gf and I (and our two labs) drove from Tulsa to Charleston, S.C., earlier this year, we hit the Cracker Barrel, often.

It would seem that you and those Lab's had your yearly intake of grease and cholesterol after 2 meals at Cracker Barrrel.

Actually...I'd suggest that choosing to have a brief, and necessary "business meeting" at Mcdonald's is slightly more acceptable than choosing to actually dine there, which you have admitted to with a weak justification. Chances are, the lot of these business folks are not actually even partaking in anything from the "lunch" menu...they just need a close and convenient location, with wi fi access, to meet up at...maybe sip a coffee or a coke.
