A Trolling Masterpiece
This guy puts us all to shame. I posted the link before, but maybe some of you didn't see it, so save the GDs.
The guy runs a website and devotes his time, LOTS of it, to scamming internet scammers.

That was awesome, but I can't imagine someone having the patience and time to actually go through all of that.

I remember the web site this guy used for this prank. Sadly, I lost the link. It provided me with minutes of entertainment. But not nearly as much entertainment as this shit.Uncle Fester wrote:This guy used sound clips from the Elf himself:

My late husband was Very wealthy and after his death, I inherited all his business and wealth. The doctor has advised me that I will not live for more than two months,so I have now decided to spread all my wealth, to contribute mainly to the development of mainly to the development of church,charity/under previlegded in Africa, America, Asia and Europe. I might have to take you up on that.
So far I've received a pic from the "little old lady" with "cancer of the breast".
Definitely a scan from a magazine.
Since "she" is having her procedure done today at the hospital, she has given me contact information for her "associate", who has supplied me with all the bank information for me to make the deposit to. It sure will be a task for this guy to have a non-existant woman hold up a Rack The Trolls sign. Looks like we'll be testing his photoshop skills.

This was my response to her first email from above:

edit to add image:Dear Mrs. Brown,
Thank you for the very interesting email. My name is Craig Kilborn and as I read your thoughts, I was deeply moved. I have a friend, who knows a guy, who has a wife who was stricken with cancer of the breast roughly two years ago. Sadly, she didn’t pull through and we’ve all been grieving since.
As it turns out, I work for a nonprofit charitable organization which I may be able to tap into in order to alleviate your situation. My organization primarily deals with the homeless and elderly men suffering from rectal conditions; however, it is not uncommon for us to provide relief to folks outside of these situations, whom we feel are truly in need of it.
Before we proceed, I will need some more information from you. 1) How do you suggest we should go about the money transfer? 2) Will I be required to finance any of the operation? 3) Do you have a photograph of some kind? I just like to know that I’m dealing with someone genuine on these types of matters.
I anxiously await your reply.
Regards,
Craig Kilborn

Not quite sure how you'll work in a "Rack the Trolls" reset (imho, it would have been easier had you claimed to be from some sort of offbeat religious outfit), but this'll be amusing to see regardless.

In this case, it might not be quite so funny as the one Fester linked. Part of the fun in viewing that troll job was seeing the pictures of a real person (although I have little doubt that said person was not the actual perpetrator, but some sap he paid a few dollars to have his picture taken. In any event, he bore a striking resemblance to the gay guy who worked at a photo development place in one Seinfeld episode.)MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:So far I've received a pic from the "little old lady" with "cancer of the breast".
